Reproductive loss & grief creates pain in the heart & soul. This pain often creates isolation in our closest relationships. Our Creator heals by HIS grace.

Support for Life in the Womb

Children in the Womb should be valued

Support for Life in the Womb is a comprehensive ministry supporting women and men in making good decisions to bring their baby to a full-term, healthy birth and growth to be a healthy adult. It is a ministry that recognizes that many people are either ignorant or choose to ignore God's plan for the human Family. Many babies are conceived outside God's plan for marriage. But many cultures choose to ignore how God cherishes life. Too many women regard a pregnancy as a great inconvenience rather than a gift of God.
Psalm 127:3-5 says, "Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one’s youth.  Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate."

People Grieve Loss of Children - Born or Unborn

This Ministry seeks to serve the LORD by making His will known and by teaching everyone (not merely Christians) God's plan and purpose. But this ministry must also promote the grace of God to victims or false teachings and ungodly practices as well.

On the other hand, there are social forces supporting abortion, which is a decision to take a human's life (i.e., murder). We strongly oppose abortion, but we also know that there are long-term spiritual hurts in the hearts of those who have been impacted by abortion (women, men, siblings, parents, and the extended family are each impacted and need some level of counsel and support to properly grieve and receive God's grace).

We partner broadly with the Body of Christ to reach as many as possible. We have in excess of 50 ministry partners internationally, plus several dozen in the US. Some are focused on seeking to prevent abortions by providing prenatal counseling. Others provide counseling to the men involved in the pregnancy. Some are involved in marital counselling and seeking to provide a sound marriage home for the child to be born into and to grow in. The character of the ministry may be somewhat different in different areas of the world and different cultures, but the ministry goals are the same.

We have some special counseling partners, especially Life Perspectives, who address issues of recovery from having participated in an abortion. Life Perspectives provides courses, counselors, and on-line resources to help people who have suffered any sort of reproductive loss (miscarriage, abortion, etc.). See https://www.lifeperspectives.com/. MATTHEW 25:23-40 Ministries / Vision Ukraine has helped Life Perspectives to translate some of their training materials into Russian and to promote its availability to areas of the former Soviet Union, where abortion (and its consequences) were routinely promoted and practiced. Life Perspectives is also seeking to reach China.

Of course, our ministries of compassion also comfort all those who have lost a loved one, but most especially a child.

Adoption Should be Valued & Promoted As An Alternative

The Ministry also strongly supports adoption as a valued primary alternative to abortion and also as a potential solution to a couple's inability to conceive a child. There are strong cultural biases against abortion and against adopted children; these biases are inherently evil. In our work with orphan children, we do much to promote adoptions into loving homes where the children can go and prosper.

We are partnered with a number of Christian individuals and adoption agencies who assist people in finding children of all ages they will love, nourish, cherish, educate, and bring up to know Christ. We also support parents, adoptive parents, and foster parents. We seek especially to support foster parents who are trying to adopt in the long term. Our ministries provide this support through prayer, counselling, references to agencies who are can provide special support needs, and through our network of healthy churches.

In some places, the practice of selling unwanted children into slavery is wide-spread. See our Anti-Trafficking Ministry.

By working with various orphanages (some church-sponsored and some government-operated) and providing daily prayer for each orphan, we learn what each child's special needs are so we might match prospective adoptive parents to each child. (Some of our long-term relationships with orphanages has led to graduates of an orphanage returning to adopt children into their family.)

Every Christian should understand that we are each adopted children of God the Father, becoming co-inheritors with Christ (see Romans 8:15ff).

The core of every aspect of this Ministry is communicating the will, person, and character of God to people who haven't been properly introduced. We seek to lead them into a personal relationship with God through Christ by both word and deed.

Ministry Resources

We freely share our various ministry concepts and associated resources to promote the growth and health of congregations locally and worldwide and enabling them to have more effective outreaches.

We encourage people to download all resources for the use of their local ministries and to translate them into local language(s). When a resource is translated, ensure that you use the most reliable Bible translation in that language for Bible references and citations.

If someone uses a Resource and translates it to another language, we request that they share it back to us so we may distribute it more widely.
We request that you would cite MATTHEW 25:34-40 Ministries or this website as the site where you obtained the original.

Grace Course

Grace is one of the most important concepts of the Christian faith. We need to thoroughly understand its nature and application in our daily lives.
